‘I’ve Taken Several Film Offers To Him, He Didn’t Do Them’
Despite esteem, Vinay admitted to feeling bothered by the opportunities his uncle had selected to
let go.
“I often find myself troubled. I’ve taken several film offers to him, but Govinda rejected film
offers. I’ve taken several event offers, but he doesn’t admit them. He has his reasons."
With a 14-year age gap in the middle of them, Vinay describes Govinda as more of a father
figure than simply an uncle. That lively, he says, has always prevented him from questioning his
decisions.
“However, he is my maternal uncle; I have never questioned him out of admiration, never asked
‘why?’ Whatever he says, I just respond, ‘Okay, sir.’"
Even after completing around 70 films and becoming a star in the local industry, Vinay insists
his reverence stays unchanged. “Even today, I have fame, respect, everything, but in front of
him, I remain respectful. I am the same person I was in childhood."
